Who we are

Workbits Collective is a neurodivergent-affirming makerspace and tech tinkering hub in Berkeley for kids ages 6 to 18, where they can create art, build with tools, explore digital media, and turn their ideas into real projects.

Workbits Collective is a neurodivergence-affirming makerspace in Berkeley for kids ages 6 to 18 to create, tinker, design, and build through art, crafts, technology, media, and hands-on tools.

Workbits creates  a facilitator-led environment where kids can explore and create at their own pace. Depending on their needs, kids may work independently or alongside a parent or caregiver. Our facilitators guide activities and support the space, while families remain actively engaged in the experience.

Create together

Workbits is not just for kids, it is a space for connection. Many families choose to stay, explore, and create together. Whether a child prefers independence or benefits from extra support, the space is designed to adapt to different needs and styles of engagement.
