The Art Studio

The Art Studio is a colorful, hands-on space where ideas take shape through paint, clay, paper, beads, textiles, and found materials. Makers can design jewelry, paint or draw, sculpt with polymer and air-dry clay, create mosaics, assemble junk journals, explore bookbinding and block printing, or give discarded materials a new life through upcycling. Participants are encouraged to experiment, combine techniques, and enjoy the creative process without pressure to make something “perfect.”

tinkering and Tech LaB

The Tinkering and Tech Lab is where curiosity meets technology. Participants can design and print t3D printed objects, build simple electronic circuits, experiment with LEDs and motors, explore robotics and coding, or personalize items using sublimation. They can begin with approachable projects such as fidgets, keychains, bookmarks, and light-up creations before moving on to more complex builds. The emphasis is on learning through experimentation, troubleshooting, and discovering how things work.

Stich and Press Studio

The Stitch and Press Studio brings together traditional fiber arts and modern design tools. Makers can learn to sew, embroider, crochet, create digital designs with Cricut, and apply their artwork to fabric using a heat press. Projects may include customized shirts, tote bags, patches, accessories, and handmade textile creations. Whether learning a first stitch or developing an original design, participants can build practical skills while creating something personal and useful.

The Gaming and Media Room

The Video Game and Media Room invites kids and teens to explore the history and evolution of gaming across multiple generations. The collection ranges from Atari, Commodore, and Sega systems to contemporary consoles, modern games, and virtual reality. Participants can experience vintage games on matching period televisions, compare how gameplay and technology have changed over time, and enjoy independent or cooperative play. The room also supports video editing, digital storytelling, and media creation, offering a comfortable space to play, connect, learn, and create.
